Jason Derulo X Carol Doche X Diamond Platnumz – We Are Different

Track Notes & Overview

The vocals cut through the mix with striking clarity on We Are Different, the new Afropop track by Jason Derulo, Carol Doche, and Diamond Platnumz, published on July 1, 2026. This global collaboration centers on the power of owning one’s unique identity. Rather than highlighting our gaps, the song shifts focus toward a shared sense of confidence found in our varied backgrounds.

The bright, rhythmic arrangement acts as an engine for this message, keeping energy high while grounding the spirit of the song in pure celebration. Crisp percussion layers provide a steady pulse that encourages movement, effectively balancing polished melodic hooks with a punchy, organic feel that hits home on the dance floor.

Core Meaning: An upbeat, rhythmic call to embrace individual identity and find strength through the beauty of our collective differences.
