Dulla Makabila Ft Zaiylissa – Mapenzi Yasakwe

Track Notes & Overview

Dulla Makabila and Zaiylissa premiered Mapenzi Yasakwe on October 6, 2026, delivering a frantic Singeli anthem out of Tanzania about the futility of chasing unavailable partners. The production keeps pace with this theme, using rapid-fire percussion and piercing, bright synths to capture the restless anxiety of a relationship that refuses to gain any meaningful traction.

The instrumental arrangement functions like a high-speed chase where effort goes unrewarded. Dulla’s urgent delivery hits hard against Zaiylissa’s smoother vocal presence, creating a tense back-and-forth that mirrors the strain of constant pursuit. Every beat feels built to mimic the physical exhaustion of reaching for someone who consistently pulls away, leaving only frustration behind.

Core Meaning: A high-energy look at the painful exhaustion of pursuing someone who remains emotionally unavailable.
